What do we want re: Israel?

With Bush courting WWIII in Iran, it may be valuable for us to have a separate discussion about a topic that hovers over this and nearly every other Middle-East issue: Israel and its right to exist... with current borders/modified borders/1967 borders/at all.

My goal is that we get a better sense of where we as Democrats are coming from in this most sensitive of issues.

If you feel you can shed some light on this, please share your two cents. Otherwise, please sell destructive somewhere else -- it's not an achievement to make this discussion ugly.
