19. They are just trying to implant that question in our heads
They don't give a crap what our answers might be.

The question assumes that we WANT the admin to be refreshed and re-energized. Typical CNN -- they write all their headlines as if they were writing for an audience consisting of Cheney, Mehlman and Rove. Now they write their poll questions that way too.

Yes
No

32. i applied for a job and went thru several interviews then had to take a
test.. i showed up to the California fair grounds where they had 3 big buildings giving high school proficiency tests.. 4 tests to a building for a week.. i guess they tested over 30,000 in Stockton alone.. lots of unemployed people; in the valley.

later i heard of the results of a survey that revealed 4 out of 7 people who graduated high school in the previous 17 years.. since Reagan. could not read well enough to fill out a job application.

they started teaching phonics, reading and math again.

you never know what the hell is going on anymore..

29. Probably has to do with Bolten suggesting people quit now
He used the re-energize phrase. Dobbs poll playing on the silly effort to fix the sinking poll numbers with a bit of personnel change among the West Wing lackeys.

http://www.cnn.com/2006/POLITICS/04/17/bush.shake.up.ap/index.html

WASHINGTON (AP) -- Signaling a possible shake-up among President Bush's senior advisers, the new White House chief of staff told top presidential aides Monday to expect changes that "refresh and re-energize the team." He invited anyone who is thinking of leaving before year's end to do so now.

Joshua Bolten, who took over the top staff job late Friday, did not ask for anyone's resignation in his first Monday morning staff meeting with the president's senior aides, presidential spokesman Scott McClellan said. No one stepped forward to say they would leave, either, McClellan said.

But Bolten has Bush's full authority to make changes to the president's staff, which has had a low turnover rate, with many aides serving him for years. Bolten already has had closed door meetings with some top advisers and plans more in the coming 10 days or so to talk about their roles going forward, McClellan said.

McClellan said Bolten told the aides to expect "some changes and adjustments"after he's gone through the process of talking to the staff.

What do you believe is needed to "refresh and re-energize" the Bush administration?

Staff changes

Policy changes

I would have added hare-kiri as an option.

40. (sigh) I voted for policy changes
because it is the only option in this poll (other than not voting, which I considered). Can't believe it that so many voted for staff changes. Given what we've seen with this Bush crew, one set of incompetents goes in after the old set leaves. It's just fresh troops with the same game plan that never works, and probably isn't meant to work in the first place!

Rumsfeld is a war criminal, but he also followed the orders of Bush, who is the biggest war criminal in American history.

Would we have asked of Hitler to shuffle his staff?
