"In private conversations with RAW STORY, senior aides to leading Democratic members of Congress in both houses have indicated an uncertain approach to resolving the standoff over Iran’s nuclear ambitions"....

"Most aides refused to speculate whether Democrats might support a military operation in Iran. Several aides acknowledged, however, that some Democrats in Congress could support a military strike. If it was presented with clear and damning evidence of an Iranian nuclear program, aides said, Bush might be able to get Congressional authorization for the use of force".

1. This is such an easy issue, what are they keeping the powder dry for?
All they need to do is replay sound bites of Bush's lies the last time around, side-by-side with the word-for-word same lies he is spouting now. Bush is plotting newkuler Armageddon. He's a freakin' madman and he must be stopped now.

3. I think Bush will claim he has all the authority he needs already.
I bet he claims as unitary executive, commander-in-chief, emperor of the Americas, and leader of the free(?)world that he can simply expand the theaters of war needed to fulfill his _obligations_ under IWR.
