4. Thx, I agree. And it's folk music IMO.

He plays folk festivals, although that doesn't preclude country artists. He has a country sound, but it's far beyond commercial country in terms of quality and depth.

3. Chuck Brodsky is great! He's been around awhile

and I always liked his music but this is the first time I realized that he was that opposed to *. If you like this, you might also listen to James McMurtry's "We Can't Make It Here". John Prine, Nanci Griffith and Marcia Ball are other artists who have opposed the policies of this administration. It ain't the 60's yet but there's a lot of good music out there.
