Survey USA new poll numbers out for Bush, these numbers will shock you
Edited on Tue Apr-18-06 10:37 PM by killerbush
Survey USA has come out with their latest 50-state poll on how Bush is doing in each state, and some of the negative numbers are shocking. First off, only 4 out of the 50 states have positive numbers for Bush. They are:

Utah: +15 55%-40%
Wyoming: +10 54%-44%
Idaho: +10 53%-43%
Nebraska +6 51%-45%

Now the bottom five:

Delaware -43 27%-70%
Vermont -43 27%-70%
Massachusetts -44 26%-70%
New York -48 24%-72%
Rhode Island -50 24%-74%

One state, (Oklahoma), has the president even with 48%-48%. the rest of the US is all negative numbers for Bush. To see how your state fared, if you haven't see it here already, go to:

2. Wow...nice.
I saw those numbers and it looks like Alabama and Kansas have flipped...impressive. More people in Utah are putting down the Kool-Aid. It looks BAD for *!:headbang:

25. Halo effect from Bitch
I imagine that the only Republican that would have good numbers in this state right now is Lugar, who would anyway.

6. It's going to be exciting to watch the media report on the stunning upset
the GOP pulls of in November! They must be hiring the best Hollywood writers to come up with some remotely plausible scenerio.

13. Oh, you know the script.....
...everybody wakes up that morning, and all of the sudden, they have an epiphany that the threat of gays getting married, and Bush's "strength" on security, override everything....

And it will be played as a reconfirmation of the nations trust in Bush. Don't think twice about it. They have the script ready, just like the votes.

14. Bird Flu
Wasn't there something about bush increasing funding for blue flu prevention, which can only mean they are spending money to plan an epidemic scare, perhaps in Nov?

Get your absentee ballets ready, there will be some plot to keep the people at home. The gas prices alone might keep most from voting!

7. That's still not as blue as I'd like it in my political dream world, but
the trend is not encouraging for the GOP at all.

that 74% in Rhode Island hints that Senator Chafee is going to be swept from office on the skunktails of the president.

Don't be too sure about Chaffee. He's still pretty popular in the state.

10. I know he's not hated, but articles this week in several mags & websites
have Lincoln Chafee telling the press he feels squeezed by the conservatives in his own party primary simultaneous to being loathed by liberals for selling out to Bush, which could cost him in the fall. "It's almost impossible," he says in one piece, to run for re-election in that narrow navigational stream.

I understand there is some support for him. I don't hate him myself. But I think I'd prefer a more reliable Democratic vote in that chair.

12. Just remember in 2008 we won't be running our candidate against Bush.
This is delightful news for his year, however. Hopefully this spills over into anti-Republicans in congress sentiment. I think it will because there are many more who strongly disapprove of Bush than strongly approve. Even the low support he has is very tepid support.

I'm hoping Republicans don't fell a lot of motivation to get off their butts on election day, and Democrats come out in passionate droves

I should move to a swing state, where my vote would count for more.

Edited on Wed Apr-19-06 12:08 AM by Clarkie1
for example. The spread there is 6 points...that's not much. It's a very opportune time to get through to Republicans in red states, because a lot of their neighbors have already turned against them. We should take advantage.
