1. Interesting. The TV pundits are calling SC "dead even".
Once again we'll have to wait to see which pollster is closest.

2. I think the polls
have been proven so far off in the lasr two races (IA/NH) that we can't trust them at all. I am waiting for tonight.

5. You're right about Iowa, but I think they were closer in NH.
Zogby was way off until the day before, when his numbers suddenly changed.

8. actually zogby on nh
if you were paying attention to the nh zogby polls.

it was basically correct except for one poll like 2 days before that suddenly showed dean even. they had some blurb on the site about changing the sample parameters because they thought it would be more accurate. suddenly the next day they switched back and that poll did more closely resemble the result.

i watched it close as i am a dean supporter and was pretty happy with the renegade poll which sadly turned out to be a crock.

3. Edwards coming on strong in Oklahoma!!
Frankly, the worst thing that could happen to Kerry would be for Edwards to win not only South Carolina, but also Oklahoma. I certainly hope that word has gotten out about the Switzer endorsement.

4. Why is that the worse thing that could happen to Kerry?

If Kerry handily wins 3 of 5, and Edwards wins both the southern states, I don't see that as a diaster for Kerry. It only solidifies Edwards position as Kerrys running mate.

7. Exactly, Edwards making a strong showing
is good, either way.

10. If Edwards wins OK and SC, and Kerry wins the rest, it's a 2 man race
If Clark and Edwards each win a state, it's a three man race -- and Kerry can't lose in a three man race.

6. Proof the people are not sheep. Edwards and Clark win where they campaign

strongly. Why didn't Dean select one state to campaign in and win 1 for his folks. Anyone know?

if you just go to the deanforamerica site and read the strategy memo you will see why.

there is a plan.. ha ha ha ha ha ha {evil laugh]

summary
not enough delegates and too many opponents in these states.
they are hoping to get to the bigger states against a smaller field with their finances intact. also they are hoping the organization already in place can grab some delegates.

its a fight for delegates my freinds. its not over till its over.
