Who needs $$$$

My goal in 2006 is to donate money to Democratic candidates that need money. I'm talking about Democrats that are running in races where they can take a seat from a Repug (or Holy Joe). Senate, Congress, Gov .... whatever.

Please let me know of peeps I should send some green backs to?

I'm not talking a butt load of money ... just $10 or $5 here and there.

So far I've donated to Francine Busby (Congress in California), Ned Lamont, Phil Angelides (Gov Cal) and Nick Lampson (Congress TX .... DeLay's seat).

I think that this year it's important that we support candidate DIRECTLY. I don't hold much faith in the DNC after the last fucked up elections. That's why I want to keep my ear to the ground with y'all.

I think that DU should have a forum that list candidates to support. I feel bad for peeps that are running in the blood red area that don't stand a chance .... but I'd rather send money to people that could make a difference. I mean please .... I know that the Democrat running in Bakersfield, CA for congress is probably a fine person ... but let's get real. If we elect more Democrats in areas where we can win ... the better chances people have in turning "red" areas to purple.

That's my goal in 2006.

She has an excellent chance of winning and providing a real voice for Missourians!
