Nelson doubles-up Harris in Senate poll

TALLAHASSEE: A new poll released Thursday shows U.S. Senator Bill Nelson is favored over his challenger, U.S. Representative Katherine Harris.

The Quinnipiac University Polling Institute shows Nelson is preferred 56 percent to Harris' 27 percent.

The random telephone survey is made up of 951 Florida voters taken between April 11th and April 17th.
