6. Thanks for that, here's a website which give more links for streaming
Fresh Air

Station that are currently broadcasting this show are in Bold.

News & Notes
<http://www.publicradiofan.com/cgi-bin/program.pl?programid=1949>

I wish I had been listening to the stream, my local station just went off-air!

This might sound a bit paranoid but, this only ever seems to happen when someone is on NPR saying something critical of current Bush policy or criminal actions.

It's like someone was/is sitting near the switch for the radio transmitter and they just shut off the power. Either that, or someone is jamming the signal, and no, it's not the weather, it a bright sunny day here today. :mad:

I'm listening to the Georgia Public Broadcasting on-line stream now.

7. well interestingly enough
He's more complaining about the lack of bipartisanship in the two branches of Congress and the reduced effectuality of both branches due to obligatory fund raising needs of the representatives. He talked about compromise between a thing of the past and how the Congress used to reconvene on Sunday evenings and often work through the weekends. Now they're lucky if they reconvene by Tuesday afternoon and are out of there by Thursday night.

What are we paying these guys for anyhow???
