Is Bush a "calm & assertive leader", a la The Dog Whisperer?

"Dominant pack leader always is calm and assertive. All dogs in a pack follow calm assertive personality."

Only Cessar Millan, The Dog Whisperer, can articulate the complexities of social dynamics in a way that is surely Modern American.

Will one of the two political parties that manage American politics provide for the electorate a calm & assertive leader for us?

If Bush had an ounce of "calm" in his leadership, he would not have forced the 2000 election the way that he did. Calm leadership knows when to wait - a quality which America regretably lacked in it's pursuit of Iraq.

Yet, post-invasion Iraq showed a particularly bleak lack of assertiveness. And Katrina undercut his support is because it was an example of indifference, which falls under the spectre of the "assertive" personality. This will be his complete undoing when history reflects on his actions. A strong case can be made that Bush is neither calm nor assertive. Rather, Bush is indifferent.

"Dogs need leader who's calm and assertive."

God bless Cessar Millan, The Dog Whisperer.

1. Cesar Rocks!
My wife is a dog behaviorist just like the Whisperer. She watches every episode which means I watch every episode and it really works. We have just trained 4 dogs to get an Obedience title and we have our own dogs trained with the Whisperer method. Stay Calm and Assertive! Cesar and his wife Illusion are great people we met them once in Atlanta. People who don't have dogs should watch h thia show. It goes way deeper than dog training! It's about you and the vibe you send out to all living things. Wow that's deep.....
LOL

2. Oh yeah watch the show on Naional Geo channel on Fridays
And to answer original question Bush is the trainee, (that hurt my dogs feelings), not the calm assertive trainer!

4. I love the Dog Whisperer
I've tried a couple of his techniques on a little canine kid we adopted from rescue a couple of months ago, and it's amazing how his suggestion work. I watch the show any time I can. He's so low key, so calm and assertive, that I wish Shrub would follow his advice. Alas, our president is a moran, who is incapable of introspection, and who will never follow advice he has not decided on in advance.

5. Ha! Funny idea!
No, I don't think Bush is calm and assertive. He's what Cesar calls "Red Zone"!

Must get my Dog Whisperer fix tonight on National Geographic!
