Edited on Sat Apr-22-06 10:30 AM by wake.up.america
treatment of Rice is very low. I am not a frigging racist and I doubt anybody on this board or any Democrat with any sense is a racist. Somebody should raise hell about this!!!!!

Another stupid trick from those jackasses.

Please, somebody do something. This is what we can expect as November draws closer. Makes me ill.

1. Dude, they got no other cards to play. Everyone knows that.
Even Condi knows that. It's not time to get upset, it's time to laugh in their face when they say stupid shit like that.

Fox go. Rice is simply not competent for the job and it has nothing to do with her gender or color.

11. Actually, if she were a soft, bald, white Republican male
they'd probably have ripped her to shreds long before this. She got the kid gloves treatment, and has for some time. People are terrified, because BushCo's defense of her often employs the race card, when they can play it. Otherwise, it's the PATRIOTISM card, which works well too when anyone is going after a cabinet member. And they believe in swift attacks should anyone question their princess.

Imagine some fat, pink, GOP bastard out partying in Manhattan, taking in a show, playing tennis, and shopping for a dozen pairs of wing tips and loafers while KATRINA hit? They'd be on him, dare I say, like white on rice!!!

25. And that is exactly what they are trying to do now
exploit their blackness. If one of the black representatives says something about a white Republican they don't yell racism. Only when we attack their token black that they keep on hand solely for this purpose while they belittle every black representative there is. They have none and they don't understand that most minorities are actually smart enough to know real racism...that is why almost none belong to the Republican Party...

No this is the latest in a long
line of Dem's are racist spins. This is not any where near as Orwellian as the standard repuke line that Dem's due to affirmative action particularly in collage admissions, various educational and job programs, and any medical or financial programs trying to Blacks primarily but also American Indians, and Hispanics "on the plantation". It works like this a black kid goes to school and gets incredible grades and is admitted to say Harvard (never mind the families financial background) because of affirmative action that student will always be seen as lessor than a white kid who actually had to "work" to get there, And what about all those nice white rich kids who got there on a "legacy", no,no don't look over there.

13. The Media Is Just Starting to Get Warmed-Up For this Year's Elections
They have tolerated a bit of media criticism of the regime when elections were far-off,
That is about to end, and be replaced by the same non-stop electioneering for the Repubs
that we have seen in all other recent elections.

Coordinating the media attacks on Democrats is KKKarl Rove's full-time job now.

17. They delight in using "discrimination" as a weapon.
They've been spanked so frequently for being racists, it only seems natural they'd try to pin dems with the label.

Problem is, it's so laughable no-one could possibly take them seriously.

Historically speaking, we KNOW where the problem lies.

I AM NOT A RACIST! YOU ARE! SO NENER NENER! Fucking kindergartners.

19. They are the real racists!
Ignore the obvious incompetence and just say people are being racist. And let's look at the Republican style of thinking, they get all excited about black Republicans acting like they are diverse and the next minute they are saying blacks are just lazy bums looking for welfare. FOX is full of it anyway, since most right-wingers deny racism exist, they are just doing this to cause trouble.

and what do they mean by the Dems "treatment" of Rice. you mean actually holding her to a standard and questioning her based on her position as sec of state rather than treating her like some token and having her out there to add color but not say anything ?

28. If Fox doesn't like it, maybe we should do more of it.
Let's call for Rice's resignation. Wasn't she the national security adviser who ignored multiple warnings about Al Qaeda prior to 9/11, who had no reaction to a PDB entitled "Bin Laden Determined to Strike in U.S.", who said that no one could have imagined flying planes into buildings?

What keeps her in office besides, um, "the soft bigotry of low expectations?"

29. It's their projection thing again.....
Most of the criticism directed by Fox types at us is projection. Mark Cripin Miller wrote about this well in one of his recent books.

They believe we criticize Rice out of racism (and not because we object to her actions!) because that would be their motive if the situation was reversed. They are the ones incapable of separating her actions from her race.
