RNC lies in response to Kerry's speech

In response to Kerry's speech Saturday, a spokeswoman for the Republican National Committee denied the party questioned anyone's patriotism.

"While we have never questioned Democrats' patriotism, we do question John Kerry's motives, considering his eagerness to engage in political theatrics as he ponders a presidential run," Tracey Schmitt said.

7. The RNC response is not much different than what so many left blogs and

forums are doing with this speech and just like what corporate media will do - mock it, ignore it because you already have an agenda, and Kerry speaking truth to power is not part of the agenda.

Why ISN'T Kerry's particularly poignant speech on the home page of every left blog in its entirety? Blogs can be as immoral and unethical as corporate media at times like this.

Repub talk radio and the right wing media channels and various Repub politicians have been suggesting and accusing all Democrats who question Pres. Bush and the war in Iraq of being unpatriotic traitors and aiding and abetting the enemy. Gee, I must of imagined the attacks on Rep. Murtha, the Swift Boat Veterans, the attacks on Senator Kennedy when he called for troop withdraw and of Cindy Sheehan when she questioned the motives behind the war,called for its end, and wanted justice for her son Casey's death.
