Political reality checks...

The Repubs are scared shitless about Bush's sinking polls.
They fear the outcome of November's elections.
They are grasping at issues in attempts to find one that will stick, a la "Swift Boat"...
They are debating with themselves how much distance they should put between themselves and Dubya Bush.
They hope the Democrats do not stick it to them too hard when they are back in the minority.

The Democrats are giddy just watching the disintegration of the GOP.
They hope to win both the House and Senate because of the dissatisfaction with the Republicans.
They are being extra cautious not to do or say anything that will take the focus of the Republican disaster.
They think about just how hard they want to stick it to Bush and the Republicans and whether or not they want to use any Vaseline...

What I heard this morning on MSNBC: "religious voters"
will turn out in droves this November.

What I understood:
this paves the way for another stolen election cycle.
