Bill Clinton Blamed Twice In Duke Lacrosse Rape Case
From NewsHounds:

During Friday’s Hannity & Colmes, Alan Colmes asked Johnson, “USA Today (mentioned) that state and federal courts have rules that restrict attorneys from making out of court statements that can prejudice the outcome of a case. Are these defense attorneys breaking the law, possibly, or certainly the rules?”

Johnson replied, “You have to understand that a lot of these statements may or reportedly are coming from the same Clinton spin team, the same Clinton spin team that said lying about sex wasn’t a crime.”

Colmes asked, “What do you have to bring Clinton into this for? What does it have to do with Clinton?”

“It has a lot to do with it, in terms of standards in this country.”

Johnson was referring to the fact that attorney Bob Bennett, who represented Clinton in the Paula Jones sexual harassment case is now the spokesman for a group called “The Committee for Fairness to Duke Families.” Johnson, an attorney, must have known that Bennett is not one of the defense attorneys so the answer was not responsive to Colmes’ question. That, in itself, indicates that Johnson made a deliberate effort to work into his remarks a smear against Clinton. The fact that that he did it again the next night makes it almost certain. Read Melanie’s post and see for yourself.

5. Reminds me of what Charles Barkley said.
He was on CNN a few years ago, and Michael Savage :puke: was debating him.

Barkley got annoyed at Savage's blaming of Clinton for everything and said, "Why does everyone blame Clinton? 'Clinton did this, Clinton did that, Clinton shot JFK.'"

12. I thought Barkley was a Republican?
I guess since Savage is far right & Barkley is black, he was the de facto 'liberal'?

17. He's not a Republican.
On Bill Maher's show, he claimed that rumor started because of an argument between he and his grandmother.

His grandmother told him, "Republicans are for rich people," so Barkley said, "I AM rich!" But he himself said he was not a Republican.

18. Barkley's great. Good news. Kornheiser and Wilbon are good buddies...
with him, so I assume he's at least not a Republican.

Though Sally Jenkins obviously is.

And Rove as well -- Nixon begat Atwater; Atwater begat Rove, and Rove looked upon the Dubya and said "I could make this guy President".

15. Not Clinton's Fault
As we at Democratic Underground all know this is not Clinton's fault. It is just sad that the Republican have to try to blame Clinton for everything. Beyond that, even though I think what the defense attorneys have done so far has been mainly bad, they have not tried to say rape is not a crime. Furthermore, Clinton's attorneys were pretty much so right lying about having sex was not an impeachable crime.

26. Why would any of us expect different from Fox? Why do you watch it?
Maybe it is the trill of getting pissed off at the right. Or maybe you think that some day Fox will change it's style and you want to be there when it happens.

Breaking news! Leopards have spots!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
