Mick Jagger refuses to give up hotel suite for Bush
Edited on Mon Apr-24-06 02:02 PM by killerbush
George Bush wanted to book all the rooms for a European trip in June, but someone already beat him to it. His name is Mick Jagger of the rolling stones, and he is refusing to give up the suite to Bush.
Apparently, Jagger and the stones are playing concert dates at the same time Bush was to be in Vienna. Jagger was first to book rooms at the fabulous suite. When asked if he would consider moving to another hotel suite in a different part of the city, Jagger, a Bush critic, said no, let George and friends find themselves another place.

I'm really no fan of the Stones, but hats off the Mick for saying F**k off to George

24. Well I doubt they will put the President in a Motel 6
You think they would accept anything less than a 5-star hotel?

It was good enough for the G8 in Italy, right?

“Bush’s people seemed to be under the impression that they would just hand over the suites but there was no way Mick was going to do that.”

The classically-designed suite is said to be among the top 100 hotel rooms in the world. It boasts a 7ft 4in bed, chandeliers and oil paintings.

Former presidents Ronald Reagan, John Kennedy and George Bush Snr all stayed there while they were in office.
