Boy is CNN bad or what? Wolfie tackles the BIG news --
Cynthia McKinney on tape. I wonder sometimes if there is a hell for the new breed of TV "journalists". Something reciprocal, for the hell they inflict on the average American.

Fox, CNN, MSNBC...They all suck. Sickening pandering to the lowest common denominator. They all claim to be "journalists" too. What a laugh.

1. They've reached a new low with the McKinney tape thing...
You had a report on 60 Minutes Sunday clearly illustrating the lies about Iraq WMDS, but there's nary a word about it on CNN or the other networks. But Cynthia McKinney calling someone a "fool" is on every 10 minutes.
The word "fool" is clearly a threat to our national security. She is giving aid and comfort to the terrorists by calling her staff member a "fool."

2. If this is grants you solace....
the more that they ignore the obvious, the lower their rating sre because more and more people tune into Keith O to find out what's happening in the real world.
My FIL has begun to watch Keith O and is finally questioning the government. This is no mean feat because he lives in SunCity area of Phoenix Arizona, (compoletely soaked in bushites...OR at least it USED TO BE THE CASE). It's ain't working anymore folks...

5. "Ignoring the obvious" is a good way of putting it.
Edited on Mon Apr-24-06 07:03 PM by joemurphy
For me, that phrase basically capsulizes the last 5 years in this country. A failure to focus on anything important. An inability to address problems crying for solutions. A lack of any leadership.

Oil companies are permitted to write our energy policy. A President who thinks God speaks to him about foreign affairs. A cabal of Neocons leading us into unnecessary war. A Congress that gives "The Decider" a blank check to do as he pleases. A press full of pretty boys and girls with no brains, no sense of history, and no integrity.

For a long time I just felt like screaming. Now I'm just numb to it all and wondering if it's ever going to get any better.
