Anyone else see CNN's Interview with Clooney/Powers over Darfur Tonight?

I wonder what anyone thought of all the time Wolfie gave to interviewing Samantha Powers and George Clooney about this?

I saw it as a trashing of Dems for inaction going back to Clinton and a faint praise for Bush for "calling attention" to the issue...but the whole thing made me sick.

Darfur as an issue where we AMERICANS can somehow have the POWER to get NATO to MOVE IN AND SAVE THIS PEOPLE...yet...no mention of how we invaded and bombed folks in Iraq and the "genocide" in Haiti and elsewhere...but photo's of Congressmen ARRESTED over Dafur and NOT over Iraq Invasion/Stolen Elections and Bush/Neo-Con/Nazi "TAKE OVER OF AMERICA!"

I was SO CONFLICTED! I think what's been going on in Africa for generations is so dreadful my mind can't wrap around it. WHY DO WE ALWAYS SUPPORT KILLER AND DICTATORS THERE? WHY DO WE EXPLOIT AFRICA? Why do we NEVER DO ANYTHING ...until it's too late.

BUT WE HAVE AFRICAN AMERICANS HERE....NEW ORLEANS!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm so conflicted. We don't have the resources left from our "Super Power" days to deal with all of this........and it makes me :cry: at the constant "hype." When there's so much we need to do here at home for America...yet the need is so great "out there." :shrug:
