Dealing With Iran
Today's question:
If you were president, what would you do to prevent Iran from developing nuclear weapons?

Then, if Iran wants open war, end it fast by using air superiority. Russia and China might balk at first, but they will not want war with the U.S." — Nick (Oklahoma City, OK)

"I say we should silently encourage Israel to bomb Iran's nuclear facilities, then we respond like the PLO would against suicide bombings and say 'we condemn the attack.' I believe that Israel can easily justify the attack since Iran's new leader has already threatened them several times. Those types of threats should not be ignored." — Jason (Donnelly, MN)

"If I were president of the United States, I would not only eliminate Iran’s entire nuclear infrastructure, but also military installations, government headquarters and any other infrastructure that may be of use to Iran in harming the U.S. or the world. I would carry this out via air strikes. These air strikes would have no timetable. When we decide that we are finished and satisfied that the threat is eliminated, then we will be done. There is no need for one drop of American blood to be spilled over this. We have the intelligence and means to do this correctly, swiftly, successfully and on our terms. What about China and Russia? Too bad." — H.M.H

"If I were president, I would deal with Iran the same way Bush dealt with Saddam and the Taliban — hit ‘em hard, hit ‘em fast, and remove another terrorist-harboring dictator." — Doug
