These are new qualifying guidelines that just started.

I remember several years ago when a bipolar friend told me he was considering suicide because his whole family, mother included, was ignoring him and whispering words like "crazy" that he used to sometimes overhear back before they abandonded him. I'm lucky one of my brothers and an old friend who's also bipolar sticks by me to a degree.

With bipolar in many cases, everything is fine until your late 20s or early 30s and then one day for no apparent reason you just go "crazy." Those first few years of diagnosis are really tough and many kill themselves because of the social stigma.

Jeff my bipolar friend asked me, "Why would God create a genetic disorder that makes people feel like I do? I had recently told him Thomas Edison, Vincent van Gogh and perhaps DaVincci were bipolars.

My answer to Jeff was, "God might have created bipolar so we'd all have electric lights.

Now, maybe some can see why I hate prejudice so deeply. I feel it daily and must hide the REAL reason I write brilliant some days and dark, deep blue or paranoid on others.
