Feinstein's protest plea
She backs immigrants' demonstrations but urges students, workers not to boycott

With hundreds of thousands of protestors readying for pro-immigrant marches across the state Monday, California's senior senator on Saturday urged students and workers to eschew proposed boycotts and stay in school or on the job.
Democratic U.S. Sen. Dianne Feinstein, who has been involved in congressional negotiations on restructuring immigration laws, told reporters at the California Democratic Party's annual convention in Sacramento that she had no problem with demonstrations.

But a boycott of jobs and schools that some Latino activists are urging for Monday would not be constructive, she added.

1. Would she have said the same thing during the civil rights movement
when they boycotted the bus lines?

7. And it also has not been constructive to hold Bush accountable
for the senior senator from California.

It is only constructive for her to support the warmonger so her hubby can make more $$ selling weapons. Heh.

6. "Don't rock the boat" "Go along to get along"
Ya know something, Ms. Feinstein? And I say this with all due respect to the Senator, but kindly shut the fuck up. You and your cohort have shown yourselves incredibly ineffectual in dealing with the problems of day-to-day Americans. We're done with you and your impotence. We're taking it to the streets, because we're the folks who really drive the business of this country. Or are you afraid that that we'll find that out?

11. Maybe I should send her a copy of the form letter she sent me
before the Iraq war. Basically she told me she knew better and supported the action.

13. Too bad this can't lead to a general strike
That's probably why this establishment hoochie is scared witless. When you can't solve problems at the ballot box then boycott and strikes are all that is left.
