tonight? I haven't crunched the numbers but it's rediculous that the local news is calling it a Kerry/Edwards race.

1. Yes, they are making Clark the invisible man. |
|
He's an outsider. He's a true threat to Bush. They want him to be invisible.
Even so he's racking up the delegates.
I despise the US media.

4. Depends on the delegate breakdown in OK |
|
Clark could come in 1st there and get less delegates because of where the votes are...

6. Exactly, but Clark's campaign bears some blame |
|
I have to say that the biggest flaw I've seen in the Clark campaign is their inability to communicate expectations (attainable goals) going into the primaries.
What you said is exactly right. Wes Clark is the *only* true outsider; all the others have been in elective politics for years. He shares the Washington outsider mantle with few others. (I think DK can be considered a Washington outsider.)
And only 4 months into his first campaign for office, he's built momentum and is starting to roll. And he's doing this with a major media brown/blackout.
Question is... Who in Clark's campaign pissed the media off so very much? Why are they doing so poorly in getting media coverage? Is it Lehane? Maybe we need to hire Carville? Stephanopoulis? Trippi? What's it gonna take to get positive press?

8. He used to work for CNN |
|
I think it started with CNN bending over backward trying to show it wasn't favoring Clark. It just took on a life of it own after that.
