You bungled your coverage of the elections from day one crowning the wrong nominee prematurely over and over - and not once admitting you were wrong. You scrupulously kept Clark's name off the air and he still won   and now you are trying to convince people that his win is irrelevant?
   His win means at least one thing: no one is looking to CNN as a guide on how to vote and that's a very good start.

I am dee-lighted that Wes was *seen* to be getting strong support from lots of different kinds of Americans that he is.

He's been the "Invisible Man" in the non-C-Span campaign reporting. Brokaw pretty much ignored him in the Debate, and asked him about 1/3 fewer questions than the others. They really tried to marginalize him. It was weird. These people just don't get it. They don't seem to be able to find their butts with both hands.

In races where both Clark and Edwards have run, Clark has come out ahead 5 times, Edwards 3 times. The primary where Edwards won, South Carolina, is virtually a favorite son state for Edwards, having been born there, and being the Senator from a neighboring state. Clark has shown strength in New England (coming in third behind two New Englanders), and the South and the West. Edwards did not do well in any Western State. Clark has one win and 3 second place showings tonight. Edwards has one win and one second place showing tonight. This even though all the media coverage since New Hampshire has been of Edwards and Kerry.

So watch the media continue to spin this as a Kerry Edwards race.
