3. You're joking, right?
I'm completely underwhelmed by Kerry's speech..

How anybody can watch Edwards' speech, then watch this one, and then NOT be for Edwards over Kerry is beyond me.

Kerry is as dry as day-old toast.

Man... we were spoiled by Clinton, I guess.

7. I'm a Clark supporter but...
I do like the way Kerry speaks. He has a Rod Sterling voice. Also, he is articulate and says things with certainty and authority.

13. Yes, me to.
My only and I mean only issue with Kerry is the silly little slogans I hear.

I don't have cable so everytime I turn on the tv it is something like "like father, like son, you do one term and then your done" It just gets old after awhile. I admit it is catchy, it just gets annoying after awhile.

16. mm.. monotone
Edited on Tue Feb-03-04 11:38 PM by FeelinGarfunkelly
I agree that Kerry's got some great lines--the one about aircraft carriers, the one about hurting millions of people while cutting taxes for millionnaires.. they're great. But he just doesn't have the right kind of emotion in it. He's not like Edwards who brings people into the stump speech and want to listen to it. Looks Presidential, can sound that way sometimes, but Kerry's too monotone, IMHO.

18. Kerry needs to use his one-liners again!!
JK used to have the best cracks at Bush and some real good jokes but doesn't use them anymore. They were really funny and loosened his longer speeches up.

I'm a JK supporter but his speeches DO need cut down in legnth and he needs to make them more exciting and interesting. Adding more jokes and audience usage would work.

Still a GREAT speaker. I like his style better than Edwards who seems to make goofy smirking faces a lot and just focuses on stories and not policies (this isn't a closing argument!).

I do not care how well he can speak, he's putting the horns to you while he sweet talks you ... if you liked to get humped that way, good for you.
