He hasn't publicly endorsed anyone yet. I know, I know . . . he called Clark a 'star'. But he is still hanging back. Does anyone think there is an icecube's chance in hell that Hillary will enter this race at the 11th hour?

6. Here's why I ask . . .

(Bear with me here, this is not my theory.)

I heard someone speculating that Dean was supposed to be the nominee because he would lose against Bush . . . opening up the 2008 opportunity for Hillary. Now that Dean is no longer in the lead, if Kerry or one of the others were to actually win against Bush in 2004, it would screw things up for Hillary in 2008 making it necessary for her to run in 2004. Has anyone else heard anything like this?

8. The nominee; he's a good politician

For whom he pulls strings in the next few days/weeks is anybody's guess, although we know he's out there doing SOMETHING, but it would be ridiculous for him to stick his neck out, and he knows it. He still has hopes of a political future. I seriously doubt he'll support anyone until it's an absolute arithmetic lock or an actual nomination.

11. I would love to know. Being a master politician, he knows who

could best beat bush. I would HOPE he will work inside the Dem establishment for that person.
