Clark, meanwhile, is calling Tennessee a must-win state but also is looking ahead to Wisconsin. He will participate in an economic forum Sunday hosted by Gov. Jim Doyle in Racine, and he plans to speak Wednesday to the Madison Rotary.

“I have never seen anything as fluid and as in flux as this primary,” said Lt. Gov. Barbara Lawton, state chair for Clark’s campaign. “I think we’d be foolhardy to make predictions that we would stake our reputation on.”
