What if Kerry chose Dean as his VP?

Don't laugh - Reagan picking Bush Sr. for VP was along the same lines. Bush violated the 11th commandment of the Repubs, and called Reagan's plan "Voodoo Economics," and was relentless with his attacks on Reagan.

So Imagine a Kerry/Dean ticket.....

Admittedly it was Bob Dole saying this, but he says the problem with a Kerry/Edwards ticket is that both are Senators. Maybe he's just scared of a Kerry/Edwards ticket, but I think he has a point.

First of all I don't think Dean likes Kerry all that much right about now. Second Kerry wouldn't do it because it really wouldn't do all that much for his ticket. The best VP that can be chosen from the candidates running are either Clark or Edwards. I think Kerry would choose Edwards over Clark -- simply because of Edwards ability to speak and the fact that they seem to have a few things in common.

It will never happen; Kerry will probably choose Graham or Edwards.

Evean Bayh is even more mechanical than Al Gore. He won't upstage Kerry. He was a governer and a Senator. He is from a "red" state. He is from an agricultural state.

He's also very smart and could handle Cheney (or whoever) in a debate.

Dean brings no electoral votes with him. We need the South and Edwards would be much more helpful in this regard. Frankly, someone who has fallen as far as fast as Dean has will do nothing to help the ticket's image. Someone like Edwards or Clark would.
