If Dean ends up being the Democratic nominee, and Clark is not on the ticket as his runnning mate, how will you vote in the 2004 General Election ?

1. If the tables were turned, and Clark was the nominee

I would support Clark because he had no part in IWR, and he opposes Bush's pre-emptive wars, and first-strike nuclear option.

I will support any of the antiwar candidates.

2. Dean doesn't have to worry about

us DU'ers not voting for him. But unfortunately, we won't be enough to secure the general election.

5. Not even Wes Clark would vote for Bush

if he were not to win the nomination himself. I venture a guess that the person that voted for Bush is not even a Clark supporter, because if he/she had heard Clark ream Bush hard, as Clark has done many times, there is no way that one could possibly vote for a man that has harmed our country as much as Bush has.

6. It's probably the usual "Spite by Poll" favored here on DU

If you hate a candidate, spite them with a click of a mouse. I'd venture to guess they're hardended in their support of another candidate and won't change. Though, it could be an honest vote, who knows? There are some crazy supporters for each candidate on DU...

4. Our votes won't elect Dean though!

I would vote for Dean, because it is my number one priority in life to try to remove Bush from office, and that is why I am such an avid Clark supporter. I truly believe he is the only Democratic candidate with a chance to beat Bush.

Unfortunately, IMHO Our DU votes won't be enough in the general election to overcome Bush.

7. Clever poll. This is a pretty good gauge of how many Freepin trolls we got

This poll is a pretty good measure of how many Freepers we got trolling among us. Only they are answering "Bush." The only Clark supporters who may end up voting for Bush in the general election are the Republicans who crossed over to support Clark in the first place.
