National Enquirer joins in on John Kerry hit squad
The ``Special Enquirer Investigation'' kicks off with an old galpal's claim that the junior senator is so vain, he ``always wanted to make love where he could see himself in the mirror.''

Which we are sure will make good cocktail chatter in Michigan and Virginia this weekend.

The Kerry shocker also reveals that he's an admitted pot smoker who had an eye for Hollywood honeys, namely Morgan Fairchild, Michelle Phillips and Catherine Oxenberg. In fact, Morgan and Michelle were so turned off by him, they both contributed to the other candidates seeking the nomination!

Then, there's ``China Beach'' babe Dana Delaney, whose hot date with Kerry included a screening of his ``war films.''

no doubt American Media got the hint from those Anthrax attacks after the Bush twins were their favorite target pre-9.11

Be careful what you wish for.

3. Good.
Nothing lends credibility to a smear campaign like having the Enquirer on your side. Now if we could just get the Weekly World News to start publishing Ed Gillespie's press releases. Can you imagine Bill O'Reiley's credibility boost when he starts quoting the WWN?

..them being a great person. Ex's by definition, do not like you. Or they would be spouses, partners and lovers.

My point is that most people don't get along with exes. There is no reason to expect Kerry to get along with his.

and if there is any truth to the rumors that Kerry has been cheating on his current wife, I am sure it will be a tabloid that will publish the story first.

11. the crap is starting to fly - but let's get it out in the open now
so he/they can smack it down. I feel like we need a huge team to handle the coming onslaught - not just the front runners people - but the whole crowd facing all the angles and reacting immediately.

This kind of garbage is boring and predictable and I have a feeling of dread over what the RNC will fling out once they get to full speed.

This applies to whatever guy gets the top spot - not just Kerry.

Dems stop attacking dems especially on superficial issues.
Why help the filthy greed pig repiglicans? After GW, I will vote for any democrat just to keep fascism out of our country. I supported Dean but it does not get the nomination, it will help him to dog other candidates.

19. A Big WHO CARES???
I'm sick of these people's sex lives being dragged through the mud. It's nobody's business....it demeans everyone involved and probably disuades the most talented people from running, since they don't want to put their families through it.

Unless it's a criminal or harrassment type thing -- I don't care.

30. More Mudslinging
First of all, isn't the National Enquirer owned by Rupert Murdock?

That should explain it all.

Second, if Kerry was single at the time of these liaisons, it shouldn't matter to anyone.

Expect the worst sort of mudslinging no matter who the candidate is. They'll drudge (pun intended) up fights from the Kindergarten playground if they think it will help their cause.

I'm glad I'm not running for office. God knows what skeletons they'd find in my closet.
