4. Bush has that Bubble of Silence around him..
like Max Smart. (Does that reference make me seem old?). One of my favorite things to do, to judge a candidate, is to watch them work a crowd like that. I like on CSPAN after a speech, when the candidate goes through the room (if they're savvy), and greet the people. You can tell a lot about a person when they do that. Do they make eye contact? Or do they look for the next hand? I noticed that Bill Clinton, as loved as he is, always looked the next hand, while Hillary did not. She lingered on each person. It's interesting to watch candidates when they don't realize they're being watched.

I'm sorry I missed Kerry in Seattle the other day. I would like to see him speak in person sometime.
