Poll question: Which campaign covets Dean supporters most?
And B) what would they do for them?

1. you wouldn't know it from reading here
but Clark's people are very similar to Dean's people. Both outsider campaigns, both getting shafted by corporate media and Democratic Party, Inc.

Clark/Dean is the ultimate outsider ticket.

3. Nah, I don't think so. Not similar to Dean people...and
definitely not a co-ticket.

8. Speak for yourself.
do you live in Seattle? Near Alki? Around here folks are quite friendly with each other. Its the Kerry folks that are the drones from elsewhere.

Co tickets happen all the time, don't paint yourself into a corner.

14. Dedicated, hopeful to the point of desperation,
approaching the office from outside of Washington, both having been in a position to LEAD as a governor or a general....maybe not so dis-similar. And, from what I understand, both are receiving donations from middle-class Americans, who can only donate a $100 or two or three over time....not receive an inundation of $2,000 donations from special interests.

...campaign, could say something like that. Sorry, but it's true.

32. Unfortunately DU brings out the die hard in all of us.
I get along great with the (increasingly smaller number of) Dean supporters I know in real life.

6. I understand that completely.
That's probably why Clark supporters have been the most polite.

24. "Everybody wants You"
Sung to the old Billy Squier tune.................

Hey, here's my take. Dean and Clark are the only real grassroots campaigns left standing. The only real outsiders that still have a reasonable shot. We've gone our rounds in the past, but our cause is a common one. We should be there for each other if what we said mattered to us, really does.

11. Clark supporters
have done a lot to win me over. If Dean bowed out, Clark probably would get my vote. I plan to donate to his campaign with my next paycheck simply because his supporters here have been such good people.

And, I agree, they would offer a solid alternative to Kerry/Edwards.

4. Let's face the facts...
Let's face the facts what campaign wouldn't want them? If for nothing more than their fundraising ability.

Although if I had to pick I'd have to say Kerry. He seemed to like the "Dated Dean, Married Kerry" signs in New Hampshire.

The irony in that slogan is just too much.

If so, Kerry is more of a

than I had previously imagined.

18. I am really liking Dean people now
But I think a lot of the good feelings have to do with the dynamics of DU more than the campaigns. One, the hotheads from the Dean side left and now we have the nice ones, two, the hotheads from the Clark campaign got banned (lol) and three, Clark has become more known to DUers and they realize he's not so bad after all. I also like Dean better the more I actually listen to the man and not all the noise that surrounds him.

To be honest I really am okay will all four of the front runners. I just like Clark a whole lot more and I think he could actually win the general.

23. I think Clark and Dean supporters have grown together because...
...of the Kerry bashers. I think it really is that simple.

But in the end, I think both of our campaigns are so similar, as grassroot organizations, we can't help but be kindred spirits to one another.

22. Depends On Which Dean Supporters
The fanatics are no good to anyone. However, the vast majority of decent Dean supporters would be an asset to any campaign.

31. Nader!
I didn't vote because I think they all would like the Dean support.

What really worries me is that Nader will see Dean's withdrawal, if indeed it happens, as an invitation to screw us royally once again by running another third party spoiler race.

35. I voted Clark
based soley on who's supporters are the least annoying.

Clark Supporters have been great in the past months, with the exception of 1 or 2 who are annoying just for the sake of being annoying, it seems (All candidates have a few like that, Dean included).

At the far end of the spectrum, of late, are Kerry supporters, but I won't be uncivil at this time.

36. Clark, he's
the only other grassrooter who is really viable. We the people drafted Clark to lead us, and we know he has the intellect and talent to do just that. I would welcome Dean supporters to our camp, give Dean a prominent time to address the convention and make him Secretary of Health and Human Services or Surgeon General.

I really like Dean and could listen to him speak all day. He fires you up while Kerry makes you yawn. I love Kucinich's ideas (starting with Prayer for America) and votes. Sadly I don't think either good man will prevail. I have come to loathe the Washington insiders, especially Kerry, who I once supported, with money even. But he's compromised, calculating, hard on the eyes and boring to listen to. Flame me and call me fickle but I am old enough to remember the real JFK and he ain't no JFK.

Grassrooters Unite!
