of this debate over which Dem candidate is more 'Christlike' than the next!!!! Give me a f'n break! I am a happy go lucky Christian, who ascribes more to a New Age philosophy than the hell and brimstone mindset, but we should be talking about international and economic issues, not this religious garbage.

Certainly if one or more candidates use the Jesus card to ratchet up support that is pandering and totally hypocritical, he/she should be called to task for such behavior. But to spend our time pondering who really believes in Jesus and whether that's fact or fiction is just plain DUMB.

I mean are we DUers or CNNwannabes??

But pandering seems to get a bad rap here.

4. Great post
The question is - will the Clark supporters that have made this issue a pillar of bitterness today agree with you?

I will guess not.

7. Well, I've also heard this discussion directed toward Clark and others
through the last months. It's just gotten crazy today.

8. The "Media" is pushing them into it. And, hyping it. Then it get's hyped
here in the "Candidate Wars." I wouldn't take it too seriously just yet.

9. But God wants Dean for Prez
Just like Pretzel Boy King, God has chosen me for one-on-one chats ( usually after 1/2 a bottle of Jim Beam, and a little toot - just like Chimpy).

He told me that Dean's the man.

Trust me on this fellas.

"And I'm very glad we've got the great team in office, men like Colin Powell, Don Rumsfeld, Dick Cheney, Condoleezza Rice... people I know very well... our president George W. Bush. We need them there."

15. Speaking of Christianity, I really enjoyed The Da Vinci Code
A friend loaned it to me Monday and I finished it yesterday. Got me in the best mood to enjoy the holiday. Sort of sanded all the edges right off.

As for political candidates being "Christ-like" - what a load! Christ wasn't even Christ-like. Mythology is a bitch who wants diamonds every Christmas.
