Hopefully, the Iowa Brown and Black Presidential Forum on January 11 was Rev. Al Sharpton’s political baptism. Finally, he has scratched the political surface and started to subject white politicians to the racial quotient test. Anyone who is not blind amid a room of deaf lackeys must know that former Gov. Howard Dean is not only mean-spirited but is also a racist. Otherwise, he would have appointed at least one Black to a cabinet position in ten years.
Of course, Mario Cuomo served three four-year terms as governor of New York and was elected only because of the Black vote. When his Black minions asked him why he had failed to appoint a Black to his initial cabinet as payback for the Black vote, Cuomo responded that he was not indebted to Blacks since they did not vote for him. According to his feeble logic, Blacks were voting against Mayor Edward I. Koch.
As bad as Cuomo was, Rev. Sharpton’s endorsement of Eliot Spitzer for state attorney general may prove to be the worst political endorsement by a descendant of enslaved Africans in the political annals of New York. Spitzer is on a mission. His unchallenged assault on Harlem’s charitable institutions is relentless, and he is not accountable to anyone, including his political cheerleader, Rev. Sharpton.
Spitzer respects Rev. Sharpton about as much as an exterminator respects rats and cockroaches. Black leaders must come to the realization that when you endorse a white politician, you must put a muzzle, collar and leash on this political aspirant. Otherwise, the Black community will be exposed to an unrestrained pit bull.

From a recent article in the NY Daily News. I saw that Eliot Spitzer was ahead of Pataki(of all people) in contributions. How does somebody who makes so much (staged?) noise on Wall Street wind up ahead of Pataki in donations?
