Kosovo refugee reunites with man 'who brought peace'

Fitim, 16, a Kosovo refugee, had a reunion of sorts here yesterday with the retired general — five years after first meeting and shaking the general's hand in the Balkan city of Pristina.
His arms around the shoulder of the general who commanded NATO forces during the war in Kosovo, Fitim said: ''Wesley Clark is a really good guy. He was the one who brought peace over there.
''Because of him, 3 million people living there have rights they never had and never dreamed about. … He is like a legend in Kosovo.''

''I will join the U.S. military, and maybe be the second Clark,'' Fitim said, when asked about his plans after high school.
