Starting at noon on September 1 2006, participating websites and blogs will replace their front pages with the single word “Impeach” in simple white text on a black background. (See this page for an example.) For 24 hours, web surfers and blog readers will see that word first when they visit their favorite sites. In this way, we hope to get the public talking about the one tool guaranteed by the Founders to restore our Constitutional Democracy.

As a lot of us are blogspot bloggers(code issues with our templates) we aren't able to keep our regular blog in action during this 24 hour period, and are opting for the importance of having our blog blacked out with the message "Impeach." I hope you'll visit http://impeachnet.net/blog/ and show your support for everyone participating in sending this message throughout the internet today by visiting the site of all who participate so that your numbers can be counted in the day's tally.

5. Just another thanks to all of you

Who are stopping in to show support for the blogs posting the impeachment message today. It will continue until noon tomorrow. Even if you disagree about proceeding with impeachment, the togetherness and strength of numbers within the internet has been an emboldening brief moment that I hope will carry us all strongly through the November elections.
