to show how quiet the audience was, and said that they were bored. I can't remember who he was with but they were laughing at Gore about how boring he was.

Tucker's an ass. After the standing O Gore received, the audience listened with rapt attention to every word, and laughed at his joke. Tucker must've caught the 'paying attention' part. Apparently being quiet=bored in Tucker's small brain.
Anyhooo, Gore was awesome.
