Close race in Missouri for US Senate.

Democrat Claire McCaskill

"The Missouri Senate race remains one of the closest in the nation. The latest Rasmussen Reports election poll shows Senator Jim Talent (R) with 46% of the vote and Missouri State Auditor Claire McCaskill (D) at 44% (see crosstabs). A month ago, it was McCaskill’s turn to hold a statistically insignificant edge, 45% to 42%."

Today I donated $25 to Claire McCaskill. I hope others will do likewise.

1. A good suggestion on this very winnable race in Missouri.
I get such a good vibe from McCaskill and such a negative one from Jim Talent.

What a fine thing it would be for the Senate to add Claire McCaskill this November.

3. Absolutely right. And also we'd have the added uplift of NOT having
Jim Talent in that seat.

Talent is such a Bush droid.

4. Close races usually break in the same direction
Which means all the close races Dems are in will likely break in Dems favor. Its still a tough fight, helping one helps all.

6. nahhhh...
MO ain't gonna' happen. HOLD NJ and WA and MN... get lucky in OH and PA and it looks pretty good. I think House goes Dem but Senate stays put.

8. I'm more skeptical that we can win Ohio than that we can win Missouri..
Ohio has slimier Republicans preventing a fair election.
