political campaigns begging for my vote. And that's just the ones that came in while I was on the computer. There are twenty-five more on my caller ID.

And the real kicker is that most of those calls came from Randall Terry. That man is ticking a lot of folks off with his incessant phone calls. The man is an idiot... I sure hope the vast majority of voters agree.

9. hedging on the "slogan"?

in 2004 the repubs told us we were safer with bush - after all we hadn't had a "terrattack" since september 11, 2001 (just alot of terra-lerts)

Just a couple of short weeks ago - we had the big booga-booga and now bringing a bottle of water onto a plane is verboten... but we're safer...right? meanwhile - all the hullabalooie didn't give bush or the republicans much of a bounce.

ummm...maybe not - bush is hedging on the "we're safer" jargon... we're safer, but ummmm...errrrr.... NOT that safe...."

repubs are scrambling, bumbling and running every which-way to put distance between them and bush. Two years ago, they couldn't get enough photo-ops of themselves walking/sitting/talking with bush. Today - I'd bet you will be hard pressed to find a photo of one of them with bush on their website - let alone in a tv commercial.

bush knows his rubberstampers are in trouble, rove knows it, cheney knows it, and the rubberstampers know it.

so today we are safer...but not that safe... it's coming, kiddies, alerts aren't enough... we're going to need a bigger reminder on just how "unsafe" we really are, and why the only the repubs can make us safe...
