Party Spokespersons - some political masturbation
As background, I was just listening to another inane 'debate' on teevee - MSNBC, to be precise. One of the (mastur)debaters was that most beloved of Republican castrati, Terry Jeffery.

Anyway, the discussion went like this: If the Dems keep using Nancy Pelosi and Barbara Boxer as key spokespeople, the voters in Ohio will vote republican so they aren't strapped with two 'San Francisco fringe liberals' leading the Congress.

Nora O'Donnell (to her credit - gasp) challeneged the man-boy by asking if he *really* thought voters in Ohio even knew who Nancy Pelosi was.

The other (mastur)debater, while generally disagreeing with the overly strident Jeffrey, said he thought there was some validity to what Mr. Castratum had to say. He suggested that someone like Jim Webb would be a better party spokesperson, particularly on matters of national security.

Now to the discussion: Leave aside your own favorites and think of the bigger picture. Who do you think are the better party spokespersons?
