Clark Says He's in for Long Haul

LEBANON, Tenn. (Reuters) - Presidential candidate Wesley Clark vowed on Thursday to fight on to next month's Super Tuesday nominating contest as he renewed attacks on two rivals for hypocrisy and "politics as usual."

"I'm in this race for the long haul," Clark told reporters, when asked if has considered dropping out.

Following a rally at the Castle Heights Military Academy in central Tennessee, where Clark attended his sophomore year of high school in 1959-60, he dismissed speculation his candidacy could be the next to expire despite it having to defer paychecks to staffers.

from the General. His words just reaffirm his indomitable resolve.

I continue to have doubts as to whether we as a nation are deserving of men like Clark. But Clark was made for times like this. Whether he serves as President or in some other capacity - this nation needs him and his experience to guide the nation toward a better future.

Thank you General Clark for sacrificing for your country again, for suffering the slings and arrows of an outrageous media, for believing in your country's future.
