Tony Snow: "Some Democrats..."

http://www.editorandpublisher.com/eandp/news/article_display.jsp?vnu_content_id=1003087485

"There have been some in the Democratic Party who have argued against the Patriot Act, against the terror surveillance program, against Guantanamo. In other words, there are some people who say that we shouldn't fight the war, we should not detain -- we shouldn't apprehend al Qaeda, we shouldn't detain al Qaeda, we shouldn't question al Qaeda, and we shouldn't listen to al Qaeda. In other words, they're all for winning the war on terror, but they're all against -- they're against providing the tools for winning that war."

According to Snow Job if you are against intrustive government policies which violate either your personal privacy or long-standing international treaties than you don't really mind if Al Qaeda kills millions of Americans. Hmm. All this time I never knew that about myself. You may recall similiar smear tactics used by Dole a few days ago.

http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,212002,00.html

WALLACE: Sen. Dole, which Democrats — and I'd like you to name them — which Democrats running for the Senate this year believe that terrorists can be appeased?

DOLE: Well, let me say, first of all, that I think what the administration officials were saying is that this is a very serious situation. They want the American people to realize that these are Islamic jihadists who are literally trying to destroy our way of life, destroy us, and they were raising the level of attention to just how serious it is.

Needless to say Dole is unable to name any Democrats who want to appease Al Qaeda. I'm sure Tony Snow would have been unable to as well if, you know, someone called him on his tremendous mound of bullshit. Sigh, at least David Gregory is putting up some kind of fight.

2. We should always answer that with...
There are some republicans who believe we should sterilize young poor people just because we can...

There are some republicans who believe that business people never ever make a mistake...

There are some republicans that believe the country would be better off if it was all white...

There are some republicans who really truly believe that women should never have been let out of the kitchen...

And there are some republicans who truly think that it is okay to let Osama traipse around in the wilds of Pakistan...

4. Actually, when this crap is

5. They don't ask the names because dem's don't press them
on the issue...

That's why...

The press figures if the dem's aren't pressing about it then there must be some truth to the fact...

That is how these people in the media work...
