Clark will campaign with Lamont and many other Democrats this Fall.
Over the next two months, I will be campaigning with dozens of candidates up and down the ballot and across America. I will stand next to Ned Lamont (CT-Sen) in his campaign against Joe Lieberman. I will stand next to Jon Tester in his campaign for U.S. Senate in Montana. I will stand with "Fighting Dems" like Jim Webb (Va-Sen), Mike Weaver (KY-2), Joe Sestak (PA-7), and Charlie Brown (CA-4). We will stand together and demand that George W. Bush and the Republican Congress be held accountable for their failures of leadership. And no amount of fear-mongering and negative attacks will keep us from speaking out.

There are so many important races this November -- races that will determine whether Democrats can end this dangerous one-party rule in Washington, DC. I feel it is my duty to travel across America to help as many Democratic candidates as possible.

Many of the candidates I will campaign with will be attacked using this same tired rhetoric of fear, danger, and security. Well, I challenge our Republican opponents to question our patriotism and our commitment to our nation's safety.

Because we're ready to fight back.

11. Well, since you mention it...
There is one way you can help him out... all of us can. :)

Wes is laying off his business endeavors for the next two months to campaign. That takes money, and he's trying to raise it up front so he can commit to as many candidates as possible. There's a "Take the Hill" drive at the WesPAC community blog. Target is $25K in two days, but they're already half-way there. Kick in a few bucks... as much as you can would MUCHO appreciated, but every little bit helps.

Oops!!.. back to General Clark, does anyone know if he's dumping the Faux gig soon to go back into politics FULL TIME?

27. Haven't heard a thing
But I'd bet money he either signed only a 6 month contract this time, or there's an escape clause. I suppose it's also possible he plans to keep using Fox until he makes the "formal" declaration of his candidacy, which could come next May or later, but I sort of doubt it.

I believe WKC intends to run, but won't decide for sure until after the November election.

7. Just sent money in lieu of buying Disney merchandise
He's out on the stump almost non-stop. He deserves our respect - he already had mine. So I sent some money to help elect Democrats across the country. I was going to buy some Disney things for my niece and nephews, but I sent it to securingamerica.com We decided we're going to go to Upstate New York and pick and eat lots of the incredible peaches that grow there. Much better use of time and money

13. Here's how Clark will really help.
"Many of the candidates I will campaign with will be attacked using this same tired rhetoric of fear, danger, and security. Well, I challenge our Republican opponents to question our patriotism and our commitment to our nation's safety."

The Republican noise machine is cranking up to attempt to scare Americans into thinking they can't trust Democrats with their security again.

Lieberman is trying out that tact against Lamont now. Clark will be using his four stars to stare them down Lieberman and all the Republican attack dogs, just like he does with the FOX jocks.

21. It must be VERY sweet for Wes to back Lamont, after Lieberman insulted
him during the debates in 2004 by challenging his Democratic credentials. Lieberman's history of cheap shots are beginning to catch up with him.

25. Clarification: Kerry has not come to CT to campaign with Lamont
Edwards is the only 2008 prospective Dem Prez candidate to come to CT to stump for Lamont so far. Lamont went to Hillary's home in NY.

Kerry has spoken publicly in Lamont's defense, but I don't know if he's been scheduled yet for a visit to stump with Lamont in CT.

28. I applaud all Democrats who campaign with Lamont.
Certainly individuals like Kerry, Edwards, and Clinton can help rally Democrats around Lamont, which is a great thing. Remember though, most of Connecticut is not registered Democrat...I believe most are independent. I believe Clark, with his unparalled national security credentials, will help bring independents as well as more Democrats to the Lamont camp.

16. Donate, donate, donate!
A donation to Gen Clark is money well spent. He kicks the GOPers right in the ass - just the way they deserve.

Let's all give what we can right now. Now is the time.

He said he needs to raise $25,000 by Friday so he can continue to travel and campaign for these guys. I sure hope he gets the money.

17. Clark is the strongest voice we have as to why Republicans have undermined
our National Security. It is great that he will be devoting himself essentially full time over the next two months to supporting Democrats running against Republican opponents who are are attempting once again to play the fear card on America. Ironic isn't it that it was Joe Lieberman who tried hardest in 2004 to question Clark's commitment to the Democratic Party. Unless I have to be across the country on business I fully intend to attend a CT rally where Wes Clark and Ned Lamont campaign together.

20. Hmmm. I can't help but think that Clark will relish
the opportunity to use his his four-star credentials in defending Lamont against the Rovian/Leiberlooser attacks. The GOP is saying that Ned would be "Weak on National Security"? Ha! Ha! I bet Wes Clark is chomping at the bit to get up to Connecticut! LOL! Sweet revenge.

31. Actually both Clark and Clarke are looking better all the time
They were both right about the Bush Administrations "command negligence" pre 9/11, and they said so.

Meanwhile Clark planning to barnstorm the nation for Democratic candidates for the next 60 days...

http://securingamerica.com/ccn/node/8304

...is exactly what our candidates in swing states and districts need right now, a leading Democrat with strong National Security credentials backing them up in their rightful claims that Bush Administration policies make America less, not more safe.
