He sent it to everyone on the list, including Scholastic, Disney, et al, after I sent him the link from DU:
"It is with great sadness, that after 30 some years as a viewer, I will have to be proactively making sure that my voice is NEVER counted as a supporter of any ABC affiliated company. As you know, this takes some effort to research such information and even more effort to mount a boycott. You may also know that when emotions run high, profits go down.
It is unthinkable that in such dire times ABC would venture in to an area of inaccurate reporting and slanted bias. It is shameful when so many have already died at the hands of this type of misinformation, that you would participate. The blood shed will be on your hands from hereonin. We need our media outlets to distribute the truth and ensure moral politicians who care about humankind get elected. Your false expose on the 9/11 makings will only muddy the truth about The George Bush Administration, which is what has been happening for 6 years. We expect better from our media – we expect better from ABC. We don’t ask for bias in either direction, we ask for news reporting.
Tonight, I will go home, and regretfully un-program “This Week”, which I have always regarded as one of the best news programs on Television. I have long used “In Memoriam” as a special time to say prayers for those who have died and their families because a few powerful non-thinking men decided to pursue their convoluted ideals with little brainpower to assist them. My heart pains for so many suffering while Bush, Cheney, Wolfowitz, etc go on breathing good American Air. They don’t deserve it, and those that you slander with your “mocumentary” don’t deserve what you're giving them either. Good job of abandoning the ideals of Media ABC. Remember that you are responsible for the world you’re creating with these kinds of thoughtless decisions. How dare you take such a light hearted approach to such an important responsibility.
I will be listening to see how ABC and your affiliates ultimately handle this situation. I hope that you make the right decisions and I can return as a loyal viewer."
