Suggestions for a response to a freeper type
Some guy I argue with on another board is tired of all the bitching about Bush, and wants to know how our life has changed for the worse since Bush took office.

I'm coming up with a list, but would like some input please.

1. my husband's job got outsourced then the small biz I set up that
fed us for 4 years, my customers got outsourced too

the only thing that's saved me was this blasted housing bubble (more corp greed fueling that one) BUT I saw it coming, cashed out and bought a trailer on land free and clear so I should be able to ride it out

unless I need healthcare-- which is another thing I lost thanks to Bush

2. Let's see...
1. Rape of the environment, which is bad for everybody, unless your body happens to enjoy things like mercury poisoning
2. We are in a senseless war that my hard-earned dollars are helping pay for
3. Countless public programs have been cut so those funds can instead go to the insane war effort
4. Katrina--the Bush & Co. response made me know that I'm completely unprotected in my own country

Oh, and the list goes on...

3. Wages, health care premiums, gasoline cost, 3000 citizens killed by
terrorists on his watch, a recession, another recession looming, maybe he could ask the families of 2600 dead and 20,000 wounded servicemen if their lives have gotten worse after invading a country that had never been a threat to us, a budget deficit that will strangle his children, the medicare fiasco, an incompetent response to almost every challenge this administration has faced (katrina, rita, medicare, iraq), alienating almost all of our allies, producing more terrorists than ever before, etc etc.

Has he been able to tell you everything (ie, ANYTHING!!) that has gone right with *?

5. 36 of my friends are dead because of bush's bullshit.
My husband is still Iraqmired because of bush's bullshit, and I don't know if or when I'll see him again or if he'll make it whole through bush's illegal invasion of Iraq.

We're less safe now, thanks to bush in so many ways. Does the MFing ignorant rightwingnut actually not know this yet???

We're less free now, thanks to bush; does the MFing ignorant rightwingnut actually not know this yet, either???

Real income is down for all but the top 3%; their real income is up. Way up. Is the MFing ignorant rightwingnut a multi-millionaire? If so, then for sure he's better off financially since bush. The rest of Americans are not.

And why is this MFing ignorant rightwingnut not in Iraq, killing & dying for his beloved bush??? I'll make sure his name is posted on the ICCC when he bleeds to death in the sands for bush's bullshit.

6. It costs me $30.00 to fill up my little 1994 Nissan Sentra
I lost a good job thanks to his shitty economy, and it took a year for me to find another one in my field that pays less.

Osama Bin Laden is on my television screen every couple of months mocking America because Bush pussied out on going after him.

On a broader scale, ask Freeptard if he has the cojones to go ask the loved ones of the victims of the 9/11 attack that question.

7. "How much did it cost you to get to work five years ago?"
or, how about "When Bush passed his tax cut for the rich, he said it would help everyone. How much has your salary gone up? Has it kept up with the cost of living? Moreover, he gave you $300 bucks. How quickly was that gone?"

9. lets see..my house, my car, and my career
These were flushed early.
Within months of them taking office my sweet IT/Telecom gig was gone.
Everyone I knew in the field was fired at the same time.
I never worked again.
I did scrape up a piece of servant sector rubbish to avoid starvation.
But a descent to less than 1/3 of my income didn't cover the payments on anything.
Tell your freeper friend I'd be happy to thank him for this personally.
