I was just watching this asshole one minute ago, he had some guy from Iran to talk about Khatami's visit and Beck simply interrupted him time and time again, called him 'evil' etc. etc....sorry just had to vent...why the fuck is this joke of a man allowed on tv?!?!? does anyone take him seriously?!?!

Anyway, the point that I would have against these false moderates is just where are they LEFT of the extreme right?

I know Beck is against capital punishment because he's against abortion and considers it inconsistent to be pro-life and then pro-death.

But from what I gathered from listening to Beck for about 1/2 year, that's about the only place that he parts ways with everything the right wing stands for.

right after Barbara Slavin of USA Today completely demolished the sabre-rattling on C-SPAN, quite a few Iranians called in, and when the moderator seemed surprised, one said, "Oh, I watch C-SPAN all the time on the satellite, and have tried to call, but the wait is too expensive to stay on hold."

That was in the morning, by evening, Beck had Cohen on his show and was spewing how we HAD to attack Iran NOW! This is the same Ari Cohen who declared in 2003 that Bush had "proven" that WMD existed in Iraq and who headed the great race to get the Iraqi oil for the multinationals....

I don't think Beck even pretends to be a journalist. He is good to laugh at, and that is all. What is sad is that Christianne Amanpour has to get her paycheck from the same outfit... Why didn't they give her the London desk at CBS and leave Katie for the fluff pieces in NY?

CNN's morning show is a farce. HNN is almost as bad. I hate it now.
