I've just added a Boycott Disney link to my site, which points to a Huffington Post article about the 9/11 mockudrama.

Is there a better link, e.g., to a well-coordinated boycott campaign?

Here's a letter I just sent to the Disney folk:

Gentlepeople,

PLEASE do the right thing. Not the "right" thing (as in pandering to the so-called "right" wing of American politics. PLEASE don't slander or libel the Clinton administration! "The Path to 9/11" is filled with lies, distortions, misrepresentations, and deceptions. PLEASE don't put it on the air! I don't want to feel compelled to stop watching ABC, or joining the growing boycott of ABC sponsors. But if this despicable miscarriage of truth and justice is allowed to air, I'm going to have to do both those things.

PLEASE pull this awful program!!!

This is what I wrote to them...

Dear Mr. Iger,

I am very concerned about the reports I've seen about ABC's upcoming 9/11 "docudrama."

The numerous documented inaccuracies and the decision to send screening copies only to right-wing pundits suggest that Disney/ABC has decided to seize upon the fifth anniversary of the 9/11 tragedy to run a free, two-night commercial for the GOP, the party of the president who ignored repeated warnings about Al-Qaeda, including a briefing entitled "Bin Laden Determined to Strike in U.S."

In the nine months before 9/11, Mr. Bush took a record number of vacation days, while his VP's terrorism commission met precisely zero times.

I can't see how creating fictitious scenes defaming Bill Clinton, Sandy Berger, and Madeline Albright honors the nearly three thousand Americans who were murdered that day by an enemy about whom the president said: "I just don't spend that much time on him."

I will be boycotting Disney products for the foreseeable future and will encourage others to do so as well.
