Talking points for calling your local ABC station.

Called local Sacramento affliate this AM, they have one person set with the corporate response. She said: Bad information, just a movie not a documentary. I responded: I just got a big ad in the Life section of the Sacramento Bee which says clearly Based on 911 Commission Report. If it is not such, must be false advertising. Pull it! She said just watch it you will see it is..I said too late for many if it is (as said by many principles)inaccurate since the elections are two months away. She said it was approved by Kean and pre-screened and accepted. Yes, I said. Kean is a strong Repub, it was written by ultra conservatives and it was not screened by Clinton and administration by was sent to Rush Limbaugh. She said: the Clinton administration principles don't have the right. ABC has free speech! I said: ABC uses the taxpayer airwaves and holds a public trust not to show propaganda for a political party and call it true. I also added this "movie" or "docudrama" is going to follow at least a full day of real time replays from the actual 911 so how are people supposed to shift gears and know this is "simply a movie and know it is not true when you advertised as being based on the 911 Commission Report. She ended this rather long conversation with they are not pulling Path to 911 and I said I would have to continue call local advertisers and asking for their support and if all fails boycotting ABC and their sponsors. I am guessing she was preped with the answers. Hope this helps as you make your local station calls.

ABC is running ads for Path to 9/11 overseas with the words

OFFICIAL TRUE STORY

in the ad! Send them the link and ask them if that isn't deceptive advertising. Tell them you will hold their station accountable for the ads and file a complaint with the FCC. This was a concern with my local ABC affiliate.

They've done everything except suggest that kids put on brown shirts and start marching after they watch it!

Gentlepeople,

PLEASE do the right thing. Not the "right" thing (as in pandering to the so-called "right" wing of American politics. PLEASE don't slander or libel the Clinton administration! "The Path to 9/11" is filled with lies, distortions, misrepresentations, and deceptions. PLEASE don't put it on the air! I don't want to feel compelled to stop watching ABC, or joining the growing boycott of ABC sponsors. But if this despicable miscarriage of truth and justice is allowed to air, I'm going to have to do both those things.

PLEASE pull this awful program!!!
