Might there now be enough critical mass to get a similar group going on our side? Maybe keyed off of David Brock's Media Matters? While Brent Bozo is a self-agrandizing media hound, his group's 'base' has been, it seems to me, very effective in waging media battles. They represent of cadre of people with a common concern who are willing to write letters and make waves. We may not be on the same side of any issue as they are, but we are surely at least as motivated.

Or would getting such a thing started be akin to the 'herding cats' notion we always experience with Democrats and the larger left?

Are there any lefty groups concerned with the media?

Is it possible to get the 'liberal media' meme changed?
