Saving Private Ryan.... Remember when some ABC affiliates
wouldn't show that movie because it was too traumatic in a time of war....

Remember....

Before the 2004 election...

My local affiliate wouldn't show it....

WEWS-TV in Cleveland....

What's up with ABC...

1. Think it was the language.
It was right after "boobgate".

3. Were they trying to save us from the horror?
Or were they trying to keep us from thinking of it, and getting angry about the illegal war happening in Iraq?

Makes me wonder.........

4. I believe the latter possibility the more likely.
Watching that beach storming, it's hard. Hard also not to think then of our children in Iraq.

That movie was too real for the masses to see before an election, thinks the corporate elite.
