I wasn't offended. The humor can be a bit dry on the site, so if one follows a link into it, I can understand that it might be misconstrued.

I often use that "Daily Show" type format, where you tell a real news item and then follow up with an absurd expansion of the idea. Once in a while, I think people believe the joke part...

That said, it's still a fumblefest when he tries to conflate Iraq with 9/11 -- because after three years and thousands of lives, the reporters have finally decided they can ask "but what do they have to do with each other?" And Bush still can't provide a coherent answer. My god, what a dumb fuck someone has to be to still think this was the right war....

If he had a conscience, he'd be eaten up inside trying to answer the Cindy Sheehans who ask "why?"
