Letter to my freeper friends :-)
I'm not done yet but I think this hits the heart of the matter. Let me know what you guys think.... and if you have anything to add, let me know.

-------------------------------------------
Just last week it was reported that the US has captured Al Qaeda’s #2 man. I thought that was extremely funny since the #2 man was killed when a house was bombed a few months ago and I believe that the #2 was captured and before that…and that… Well, now there is a blog that has a list of all the Al-Qaeda #2’s that have been killed or captured.
http://www.blogenlust.net/2006/09/03/a-list-of-captured-or-killed-al-qaeda-in-iraq-2s/

What I would like to know, they have captured about 36 number 2’s but how about the #1 man, Osama Bin Laden?
“Q But don't you believe that the threat that bin Laden posed won't truly be eliminated until he is found either dead or alive?

THE PRESIDENT: Well, as I say, we haven't heard much from him. And I wouldn't necessarily say he's at the center of any command structure. And, again, I don't know where he is. I -- I'll repeat what I said. I truly am not that concerned about him. I know he is on the run. I was concerned about him, when he had taken over a country. I was concerned about the fact that he was basically running Afghanistan and calling the shots for the Taliban.”

They even closed down the group that was searching for him:

but now, Osama Bin Laden has been pulled out of the closet again for the Mid Term Elections.

The Democrats fought to get the group searching for Bin Laden to continue in their efforts:

Speaking of Terror, Did you know that 43% of American’s still believe that Saddam Hussein was involved with 9-11 ; Despite the fact that even Bush admitted he had nothing to do with it.
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/cenk-uygur/43-of-americans-still-be_b_28877.html
and today the CIA reported it as well:

How about people who have different opinions on the war(s). According to Donald Rumsfeld, they are Nazi Fascists.
http://www.cnn.com/2006/POLITICS/08/29/rumsfeld.ap/index.html

However, let’s see what skeletons are in Bush’s closet:

Nazi Fascists Huh? I do not agree and therefore I am?

I support our troops and that is why I am appalled that Halliburton used Tax payer money and food that was destined for our troops for a Super bowl Party

Back in the day, I didn’t think much of Bill Clinton but I have to come to his defense on this one…
ABC will air a show called “The Path to 9-11” in which it is critical of Bill Clinton allowing the terrorist attacks to happen. There has been a big uproar regarding it. The fact of the matter, Bill Clinton tried to get legislation passed to monitor the Muslim Fundamentalists. I could not find the actual link I was looking for but here is a timeline.

Clinton did try but the GOP thought he was just trying to ‘Wag the Dog”.

1. You can't counter a lazy man's belief system with facts.
It's just not going to happen. The best thing to do with Freepers is to walk away, cut your losses, wait for them to come around and come to you with questions. While they're ranting and testifying, the only rational thing to do is leave, cut em off, cut em out.

We're not waking sheep up, you know. The war dragging on, inflation that's being lied about on the evening news, jobs that are disappearing, and decreased expectations are waking them up.

Facts we give them won't do it. Only when the cognitive dissonance between the chirpy people on Pox and real life gets too painful will they start to notice they've been lied to.

Most will. Some are just terminally stupid and stuborn.

5. Oceania is at war with East Asia and always has been.
Freepers believe whatever Rove told them last -- regardless of whether it hues to the facts or not. Freepers are like the citizens of 1984, who forget old facts and accept new ones as soon as they are told to.
